Welcome to our online meeting place for sustainability! In the following article, you will learn more about the possibilities of this platform: hear the latest news from our network via our Inspiration articles and Publications, learn more about our activities and project clusters, find out with which members you can collaborate on which SDGs and lots more!
Be inspired by the latest news from our network
Our network has a vast amount of expertise and knowledge concerning CSR and sustainable development. This website wants to be a one-stop-shop with all the relevant knowledge of our members and the most inspiring insights from our activities and projects:
- The reports and presentations of our activities, interesting initiatives by our members and other news about sustainability can be found under Inspiration.
- Scientific studies of sustainability topics, all the information about the SDGs and links to our international partners’ libraries are available in our Library.
- All the information about the new social and business models we are developing with our members can be found in the thematic Project Clusters.
The articles under Inspiration and Publications are also linked to the 5 thematic project clusters and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Take advantage of these search functions on the overview pages to find the right information quickly!
Register for our activities
We organise a whole series of network activities and workshops annually for our members, partners and commmunity. You can find all the practical information and a detailed programme of our upcoming activities via our activity overview. You can register via the form or via our Event Manager Catherine Naveau.
Have you missed an event? Then go to our Inspiration articles for reports and presentations concerning our activities.
Find the perfect partner in our network
Our network brings together more than 350 organisations that want to make the shift to a sustainable society and economy. Via their profile page you will learn all about their organisation, their achievements in the field of sustainability and their ambitions within the context of the Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs. Each page has a short introduction to the organisation, links to their website and social media platforms and a commitment to one or more SDGs on which they wish to collaborate.
Besides their commitment(s) to one or more SDGs, all members are also divided into several sectors. Take advantage of these search functions on the left side of the overview page to find the right organisation quickly!
Our members can easily create and manage their profile page. Via the memberzone (see below) they can present the sustainability activity of their organisation themselves thanks to reports, videos, job advertisements or links to their social media.
Anyone who works or is active in one of our more than 350 member organisations, can enjoy a number of exclusive membership benefits. They can receive all our network communications and participate in activities that are only accessible to members.
Every member organisation of The Shift also has one or more standard contacts. These sherpas are the first point of contact for our network and have additional privileges via the memberzone on our website. They manage the profile page of their organisation and can add or remove additional accounts in our database for their colleagues.
The profile pages on our website are the most important communication tool for our members. The more up-to-date the profile is, the greater the chance that organisations can exchange knowledge and contacts with relevant partners in our network. As a sherpa of a membership organisation, you can enter and manage the following content on the profile page:
- Provide a description of your organisation: what do you do, how do you do it and for what purpose?
- Map the societal ambitions of your organisation based on the global framework provided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
- Share events that demonstrate your commitment: sustainability reports, inspiring presentations, blog articles, videos or job advertisements.
- Make links to your own website and social media platforms to attract visitors via our website.
Make sure that your information stays up-to-date so that your profile page is an accurate reflection of the current vision and activities of your organisation!
