For more than 20 years GoodPlanet encourages and inspires all generations to get involved and build a sustainable society through sharing expertise and taking positive actions. Based on this conviction, we work on the development of activities and services for three target groups: young people, the general public and companies. GoodPlanet has thus become a privileged partner of organisations and companies that claim an active role in our society. Since 2015, the “Sustainable Solutions” programme has enabled companies to raise awareness and train their staff in sustainable development. The revenues gained through these services are reinvested in the educational activities of GoodPlanet in order to maximize its social impact. GoodPlanet is the Belgian partner in the international GoodPlanet network, established by well-known French film maker and photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand. Every year, our 80 employees reach over 500,000 children, young people and adults.

13. Climate action

By signing the COP21 engagement letter, we commit to take voluntary action to reduce environmental and carbon footprints. We implement this by setting targets to reduce our current own GHG emissions and/or energy consumption, while also collaborating in supply chains and at sectorial levels. We agree on the need for inspirational and meaningful global action and aligned messaging. We will act as ambassadors for climate action, focusing on solutions and economic opportunities. We will help raise public awareness. We will actively manage climate risks and incorporate them in decision making — not least to realize growth opportunities. We will take steps to implement effective strategies to strengthen not only our companies’ but also societal resilience.

3. Good health

Uit onderzoek blijkt dat jonge kinderen niet genoeg water drinken. Een tekort aan hydratatie bij kinderen kan onder meer hun cognitieve functies beschadigen.
